joe sangiovanni1371 days agoMy 2005 Cadillac XLR's battery died. Normally not a big deal but in this car it's a very big deal. When the battery died the car locks down and the only way you can get in it is the security key located on the rear bumper. That didn't work either and at that point Gregg got involved. I spoke to all the experts, and they told me that was the only way to get into the car. Gregg spent a great deal of time and figured it out and got into the car. He is a life saver and as a result he's the only guy I trust with my cars. In my mine he is the wizard of car repair.Posted on Google

Karen L1558 days agoMy husband & I have a winter home in Punta Gorda & our caretaker strongly suggested we take our car to Gregg's & she couldn't have been more right. They were wonderful to work with & the prices we were charged were more than fair. We even purchased an Insiders Car Care Club since we won't be going anywhere else for our car service needs.Posted on Google

Al Dieter1702 days agoHonest, Great Customer Service & Staff! Dropped my Volvo off for a free brake evaluation, with 95K on the brakes I assumed that it needed brakes on all fours, Alan called me and said that I only needed front brakes and that the rear ones could wait. They also drove me home when I dropped the car off and picked me up when it was ready on the same day.Posted on Google

Laura T1829 days agoI have been to Gregg's a few times for my car. Twice because my HUM device told me there was a problem with my alternator. Gregg's told me there was nothing wrong and two year later there still isn't. Recently I was run off the road and hit a concrete median going over it and ending up with an oil leak. Gregg's took care of the problem and were quite reasonable on prices I have been there a couple other times and always was given good service and no gouging. Very happy with their service.Posted on Google

There is no better feeling than walking away, in this case driving, and feeling good about what just happened. And, that’s exactly how it was after getting my repairs completed! Thank you Alan and your crew!Posted on Google

Margaret Rand2101 days agoWe had an appt for 8 am for oil/filter change & to check for possible oil leak in one of our vehicles yesterday. Service was performed promptly, as usual. Even if you don't have an appt, they will fit you in as quickly as possible, especially if it is an emergency. They realize how dependent people are on their vehicles. I also have a Prius that tells me when the tires need air. Gregg or a staff member willing comes to my rescue when I drive in unannounced & has all 4 tire pressures checked & adjusted in no time. Can't beat that service!Posted on Google
Greg Dalton2103 days agoUnbelievable personal service. I was stranded with a flat. He had a portable air tank so I could drive my truck to his shop and the service just kept getting better. Very personal and professional. I will definitely come back for service on my other vehicles.Posted on Google
K S2166 days agoI was down from Georgia for a wedding, and my car broke down right off 75. Based on reviews in my insurance app, I had the car towed to Gregg's. Customer service was great, and the problem was identified quickly. Gregg even allowed me to let it sit there for a few days until I could come back to pick it up. Highly recommend this shop!Posted on Google
Bob2178 days agoStopped in, no appointment, about a possible leak. Gregg investigated my concern while I waited and chatted with (sweet) Lynda and I was on my way in no time. Barbara Jaklitsch2185 days agoOnce again it was time to take my 18 year old Honda in for an oil change. I opted to take advantage of his $55.55 Special. It was a 30% saving over the regular price which also included a "Personalized Inspection Report ". As part of it Gregg also checked my brakes and said I didn't need new ones. Where can you get such service, discounts and HONESTY. If you are not dealing with Gregg you should be. Don't deal with the rest when you can "DEAL WITH THE BEST". Thanks 🙏 again Gregg. David Fulmer2968 days agoI'm new to the Punta Gorda area, and my car needed routine maintenance. I was very afraid as to which shop to take my car to, so I read the reviews of the car shops in the area. I was really concerned about being ripped off. I don't know anything about cars and a shop could say anything to get my hard-earned money. I need a new "frim-fram" for $500? And they would show me the part. Well, okay, replace it. I was immediately made at ease when I made my appointment. I went to Gregg's in person, and the receptionist was very pleasant with me. I made my appointment and felt good about it. I then took my car to Gregg's and they made the needed repairs in record time. They also did an inspection of my car overall, and it was very thorough. I needed a new air filter and cabin air filter. They showed me the parts, and they were very dirty. I had them replace them. I don't think I ever replaced them after 60K miles of driving, so I knew the replacements were necessary. I felt put at ease that the inspection showed nothing else was needed. I felt glad that Gregg's took the time to make me feel at ease. Thanks, Gregg's! *** Please "Like" this review. Thanks! ***Posted on Google

The Guitar Nook3005 days agoWe found ourselves in Punta Gorda with car trouble. We were recommended Greg's and took our car there. The service was professional and top notch. The price was fair and the invoice was transparent. Even though we live in Miami, we are seriously thinking of taking the car back for routine and preventive maintenance.Posted on Google

Jason Cummings3060 days agoI have always performed my own maintenance on my vehicles, until my new job required to much of my time. That being said my experience with Greg's was outstanding, and I will be a customer for life. Pricing was far for work performed, but more importantly the maintenance performed was done properly. This is also a military friendly local business. Honestly can not say enough good things about Greg's.Posted on Google
Dave Peters3066 days agoMy Yukon Denali blew out a wheel bearing and we were stuck on the highway in the rain, my insurance company paid to have us towed wherever we wanted to go, I Googled out "Auto repair" in the area and Gregg's Automotive came up with the most reviews, and the best, so we dropped my car at his location, we really lucked out, best service you could hope for, got to my truck the next day and fixed it THAT DAY! Awesome service. Thanks Gregg!Posted on Google
